About this game

B-1 Nuclear Bomber is a text-command flight simulator, shooter, and strategy-focused combat game published by The Avalon Hill Game Company.

Players guide a B-1 bomber toward a mission target while controlling its altitude, course, radar, weapons, and other systems. MiGs and SAMs attempt to stop the mission, requiring electronic countermeasures, evasive actions, or direct attacks.

A mission concludes after the bombs are deployed and the bomber escapes, the aircraft returns to base, or the bomber is destroyed. The game then provides a short summary and the option to play again.
