B-24

B-24 is a World War II air-warfare simulation centered on missions by the 460th Bomber Group against Ploesti, Romania. Players manage a B-24 from a top-down perspective while taking on the responsibilities of pilot, copilot, navigator, engineer, and bombardier at different stages of each mission.

The bomber’s performance affects the effectiveness of the wider Group, Wing, and Air Force. Developed and published by Strategic Simulations, the game was released in 1986 for Apple II, Commodore C64/128/MAX, DOS, and MS-DOS.
