About this game

B-17: Flying Fortress simulates the operation of a World War II heavy bomber. Players customize their aircraft with a name and nose art before undertaking randomly assigned bombing missions into Germany.

Flight and Crew Management

The game combines hands-on flight simulation with management of a 10-member crew. Each crew member has ratings in areas such as piloting, bombing, and gunnery. Injured crew members can be replaced by reassigning others to different positions.

The player can control the pilot seat, gun positions, and bombing sight during missions. Completing a tour of duty requires flying and surviving 25 historically accurate missions.
