Futuristic competitive action with robot crabs, metal balls, and arena strategy.
The briefing
Ball Jacks is a competitive action game set in the distant future. Two robot crabs, piloted by men seeking fame and fortune, compete in an arena surrounded by a conveyor belt carrying large metal balls.
Players use each crab’s independently operated claws to capture balls from the opponent’s side and knock balls out of the opponent’s grip. A successful hold must be maintained until the ball’s timer runs out, while attacks from behind can damage the crab and force it to return to the pit for repairs.
Developed and published by Namco, Ball Jacks was released in 1993 for Sega Genesis and Sega Mega Drive/Genesis.
