Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean

Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean is a role-playing game set in a world where Earth has faded into legend and people live on islands floating above deep oceans. Its inhabitants possess “Wings of the Hearts,” while Kalas has only one natural wing and uses an artificial replacement.

Kalas begins a quest to find those responsible for the deaths of his grandfather and brother. After meeting Xelha, who is working to stop an evil conspiracy threatening the country, he joins her against a newly emerging threat.

Players control Kalas and his party while also taking the role of Kalas’ Guardian Spirit. The advice given in response to his questions influences Kalas’ disposition and behavior in battle.
