Battle Circuit

Battle Circuit is a four-player simultaneous side-scrolling fighter developed and published by Capcom. As the final entry in Capcom’s 2-D beat ’em up side-scroller games, it combines arcade action with a progression system built around collectible coins.

Coins gathered during each level can be spent after the stage to purchase upgrades for existing moves. Its campy presentation and unusual character designs draw on the feel of classic Silver Age comic books.

Players who achieve a high enough score at the end of the game can choose whether to fight a secret boss. Choosing NO leads to one ending, while choosing YES and defeating the boss produces a slightly different ending.
