BattleTech: The Crescent Hawk's Inception is a turn-based adventure, role-playing, and strategy game based on the BattleTech franchise. Developed by Westwood Associates and published by Infocom, it follows 18-year-old Jason Youngblood as he trains to become a Mech warrior defending the Lyran Commonwealth.

Players build Jason’s skills and later recruit allies while piloting massive, human-operated military robots equipped with weapons such as lasers and machine guns. Combat is presented through message windows, with occasional animated Mech firing sequences.
