About this game

Bigfoot is a monster-truck racing game released in July 1990 for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Developed by Beam Software and published by Acclaim, it features races with the blue Bigfoot truck against computer-controlled competitors such as The Growler and The Charger.

The goal is to progress through successive events while taking as little damage as possible. Before advancing, players must complete cross-country races while collecting money and points without damaging their truck. Events include car crushing, mud bogs, tractor pulls, hill climbs, and later races that combine several challenges into a drag race.

Bigfoot supports two-player play, with the second player's truck appearing in red. The game was also associated with the Bigfoot monster truck through advertising in the 1990 television show Video Power, in the cartoon segment titled The Power Team.
