Black Dawn

Black Dawn is a 1996 action shooter with helicopter-simulation elements. Set in 1998, it follows a helicopter ace recruited into Operation Black Dawn, a black ops counterterrorism strike force.

Players pilot the agile AH-69 Mohawk, an advanced combat helicopter equipped with a powerful arsenal. The game includes seven campaigns set in different areas, with missions focused on search-and-destroy objectives as well as rescuing hostages.

Despite its simulator premise, Black Dawn has an arcade-oriented style, including power-ups collected from destroyed enemies. It was released for PlayStation and Sega Saturn.
