About this game

Bloodwych is a dungeon role-playing game set in Trazere. As its champion, the player recruits up to three fellow champions and explores dungeons and mazes while battling creatures in a quest to destroy Zendick and banish the Lord of Entropy.

Party and character system

Champions belong to one of four classes: Warrior, Mage, Adventurer, or Thief. Each class offers four characters associated with the colours red, blue, green, and yellow. These colours influence spellcasting strengths and later interact with coloured rings to enhance magical effects.

Conversation and exploration

A distinctive feature allows players to select pseudo-medieval phrases when speaking with traders, champions, and enemies, including during combat. Conversations can influence companions, antagonize foes, and help reduce shop prices, with the Beguile spell providing another way to affect negotiations.

Bloodwych was released in 1988 for the Amiga, Atari ST, MS-DOS, Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, and ZX Spectrum.
