About this game

Bonze Adventure is a platform and scrolling shooter released in 1987 by Taito Corporation Japan. Players control the Buddhist monk Bonze Kackremboh, who fights enemy creatures using Buddhist prayer beads known as mala beads.

The mala beads can be powered up until they become almost as large as the player. Enemies include snakes, giant eyeballs, ghosts, and other creatures.
