About this game

Borobodur: The Planet of Doom is an action platform game developed by Softeyes and published by Thalamus. Released in Europe in 1992 for Amiga computers, it combines platforming and shooting with additional puzzle and racing-inspired sections.

Gameplay

Progress requires collecting icons placed throughout the levels, often in difficult-to-reach locations that demand carefully timed jumps. Sub-levels include a computer-controlled block puzzle in which square pieces are shuffled to recreate an original pattern.

The game also features a turbo bike section presented from an OutRun- or Lotus-style perspective. Its overall pace has been described as slow and tedious, with relatively little action.
