Buck Rogers: Matrix Cubed

Buck Rogers: Matrix Cubed follows the events of Buck Rogers: Countdown to Doomsday. After N.E.O. defeats the forces of R.A.M., its agents travel to Venus for diplomatic talks and the chance to recruit a powerful ally.

An assassination attempt against the Venusian minister draws the party into a wider plot involving the Matrix Device, which can turn matter into energy. The adventure takes the N.E.O. agents across the solar system.

Gameplay

This role-playing game uses a first-person view for exploring corridors, open areas, and rooms, while combat and ship navigation use an overhead perspective. Players can create or import a party of up to six characters, assigning statistics, abilities, and equipment.

Some encounters offer choices based on the party's skills. During combat, player and enemy forces take turns moving and acting on an overhead map.
