Post-apocalyptic role-playing and strategy across a devastated world

About this game

Burntime combines role-playing and strategy in a world transformed into a desert after civilization’s collapse. As one of four characters seeking global control, you travel across a large map, explore settlements, manage resources, and compete against three computer-controlled rivals.

Survivors can be encountered throughout the world, offering opportunities to exchange news and items or join your party. Party members may include fighters, engineers, doctors, and other character types, with each able to carry up to six items. Food and weapons are produced by settlements under your control, including old factories, camping grounds, and the ruins of former megacities.

The five great cities are open to all competitors and cannot be occupied. Fighting is not possible within them, making them important locations for interaction and exchange.
