Captain Tsubasa: Ougon Sedai no Chousen

Captain Tsubasa: Ougon Sedai no Chousen is a Nintendo GameCube entry in the Captain Tsubasa game series, based on the anime and manga's World Youth Team arc.

Its gameplay combines soccer with strategy and role-playing elements. Players choose actions from a list during matches and can improve player statistics over time. Staying true to the source material, the game features an unrealistic style of soccer built around numerous special moves.

Released in 2002, the game was developed and published by Konami.
