Carmageddon

Carmageddon is an action-racing game built around destructive driving. Players begin with one car and a rank of #99, then work toward the top by racing opponents, wrecking vehicles, and earning credits through damage, kills, and spectacular moves.

Races take place in open environments that encourage exploration beyond the main course. Winning by finishing first is possible, but destroying opponents and causing mayhem are equally central to the experience. Credits can be used for upgrades and repairs during a race, while repeatedly wrecking a specific opponent's car can unlock it as an available vehicle.
