Combat Air Patrol

Combat Air Patrol is a flight simulator centered on the F-14 Tomcat and F/A-18 Hornet during Operation Desert Storm. Missions begin from an aircraft carrier, with players selecting and configuring their aircraft before carrying them out.

The game features a realistic flight model, aircraft animations, and pilot-management choices. Players can even call in sick to skip an unwanted mission, though doing so too often may attract command’s suspicion. The Amiga version also includes strategic ground operations that can be controlled while flying support missions, a feature not present in the PC version.
