Contender 2

Contender 2 is a boxing game and sequel to the original Contender. Its gameplay is similar to the first release, with up to four modes of play.

Main Event

In the Main Event mode, players guide a young boxer toward the goal of becoming Champion of the World. A new game can begin with a pre-made novice fighter or a boxer designed from scratch.

The fighter’s appearance changes as he progresses, becoming larger and more muscular. Bruises and wounds also appear during fights, reflecting the punishment he takes in the ring. Players can face more than a dozen hard-hitting opponents.
