Cowboy Kidz

Cowboy Kidz is a top-down, vertically scrolling action shooter released in 1988. Playing as a cowboy on horseback, you ride alongside a mail train and defend it from attacking bandits.

The train can be approached from either side by riding in front of or behind it. Bandits must be shot or avoided, while rocks and cacti create additional hazards. Contact with an enemy or obstacle costs one of three lives. Later levels add bandits firing from the train and rivers that must be crossed using bridges.
