Crack Down

Crack Down is a top-down action and maze shooter set in the industrial city of Atlantis. After the scientist Mr. K creates an army of artificial soldiers and conquers the city, the United Nations sends Special Forces officers Ben and Andy to destroy his base.

Gameplay

Control either Ben or Andy while fighting cyborg enemies with a machine gun, cannon, and smart bombs. The machine gun and cannon can be swapped during play, while smart bombs clear all enemies from the screen.

Each stage centers on planting all of the Sigma time bombs and escaping before their combined timer expires. The game supports a top-down perspective and was released for arcade and various home computer, console, and later system platforms, including Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, DOS, and ZX Spectrum.
