About this game

Crystals of Arborea is a fantasy role-playing game from Silmarils and a precursor to the Ishar games. In the story, Jarel, the last prince of the elf-like Sham-nirs, must gather allies and obtain four elemental crystals to restore the temples and oppose Mogroth, the deity of chaos.

The party explores the world across a 2D map and individual 3D locations, battling black elves, orcs, and other minions while earning experience and growing stronger. Combat is turn-based on separate battle screens, with players manually positioning party members. Archers and spellcasters can attack from range, while melee fighters must move close to their enemies.
