Daikaijuu Monogatari

Daikaijuu Monogatari is a role-playing game released on December 22, 1994, for the Super Famicom and Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Developed by Birthday and published by Hudson Soft, it is set in the land of Shelldorado.

A series of natural disasters devastates the planet, awakening the great Demon King Fattobajah from an elemental shell-induced slumber. A hero carrying a fire shell must respond to the crisis and confront villains including Dr. Doan, Jalamar, Jodan, and Darkness Knight.

Up to ten playable characters can be used as allies during the adventure. The inhabitants of Shelldorado may look like savage monsters, but they are described as highly intelligent.
