Dead Connection

Dead Connection is an arcade action shooter from Taito set on September 5, 1953, in an unspecified big city. A group of detectives takes on a crime family in a setting strongly influenced by film noir.

The game’s noir atmosphere is reflected in its detective characters and female protagonist. Each stage begins with a short cinematic interlude that explains the move to a new locale.
