About this game
In Defender of the Crown, players take the role of one of four Saxon heroes: Wilfred of Ivanhoe, Cedric of Rotherwood, Geoffrey Longsword, or Wolfric the Wild. The goal is to resist the Norman hordes and seize control of England.
Players must amass armies, attack opponents' castles, and eventually conquer every territory—including lands held by rival Saxons who become enemies.
