The briefing

About this game

In Die Hard: Vendetta, John McClane has moved on from his earlier work in New York and now serves with the Century City Police Department in Los Angeles. His latest case leads him to the Townsend Art Museum, where Piet Gruber—the son of McClane’s old enemy, Hans Gruber—has stolen valuable art and kidnapped McClane’s adult daughter and fellow officer, Lucy.

This first-person shooter combines conventional gunplay with two distinctive features. Stealth Mode lets McClane move quietly, grab enemies, and use them as hostages, offering alternatives to attacking every threat directly. Hero Time temporarily improves his reaction speed, similar to bullet time, and is earned by rescuing hostages and completing heroic tasks.
