About this game

In Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker, a young hero is released from prison by his father, the leader of a mysterious organization called CELL, and ordered to enter the Monster Scout Challenge. Beginning with a single monster and a scout ring, the hero uncovers the darker intentions surrounding the competition.

Players can capture monsters, synthesize customized species from more than 200 DRAGON QUEST creatures, and take part in battles combining the monster arena style of DRAGON QUEST VIII: Journey of the Cursed King with traditional DRAGON QUEST role-playing. Local wireless play allows players to challenge friends and compare their teams.
