About this game

A mysterious jester, a forbidden scepter, and a fiendish curse plunge an idyllic kingdom into disaster. The king and princess are transformed, the castle and its subjects are frozen in time, and enchanted vines spread across the land.

As the only person to escape the curse unscathed, you must journey across grassy fields, snow-capped mountains, and restless seas to save the kingdom. Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King is an adventure and role-playing game developed by Level-5 and published by Square Enix.
