Action, puzzle, and strategy on a shifting grid

The briefing

About this game

Drelbs combines action, puzzle-solving, and strategy in a hostile grid-based world. Loosely inspired by dot-and-line square-forming games, it casts the player as the only Drelb who escaped imprisonment by the evil Trolloboars.

Randomly arranged lines shift when contacted. Completing a square locks it in place and transforms it into a monster, a woman worth bonus points on contact, or a barrier. Squares can also change into stairways that lead to bonus rooms, while Gorgolytes and Trolloboar tanks pursue the player.
