Echelon

Echelon is a wire-frame space combat simulator set around an alien planet. Players fly across its surface in search of clues connected to a mysterious event in the planet’s past.

The game supports different play styles: exploration can be pursued without focusing on battle, or it can be turned off so players can concentrate solely on combat.
