Elvira: Mistress of the Dark

Elvira: Mistress of the Dark is a first-person horror adventure game set in Elvira’s Castle, where undead creatures have overrun the grounds. Players explore the castle, solve puzzles, and battle enemies using a real-time combat system that requires carefully timed attacks and blocks.

The game features dozens of different death sequences, including a grisly outcome involving the kitchen cook and a cauldron. It was developed by Horror Soft and published by Accolade in 1989.
