The briefing

About this game

Fate: Gates of Dawn follows Winwood, a record shop owner who becomes trapped in a dreamlike fantasy land filled with mages and monsters. Guided by the old man Naristos, he learns that the mage Thardan has terrorized the land for years—and that reaching Thardan may be Winwood’s only chance to escape.

Presented in a first-person style reminiscent of classic dungeon-crawling RPGs, the game features turn-based combat and extensive party management. Players can recruit up to 28 characters and organize them into four separately controlled parties.
