Fear Effect

Fear Effect follows three mercenaries hired to find Wee Ming Lam, the missing daughter of a powerful Triad leader, and bring her back alive. Their investigation leads through criminal headquarters and horrific locations tied to the Shan XI Protectorate, a hedonistic cultist group.

Combining third-person action, shooting, puzzle solving, and mystery, the game uses Motion FX technology and streaming environments to create a cinematic world with flickering lights, shifting shadows, and steam rising from broken pipes.
