The briefing

About this game

Fight Night Round 3 is a boxing game from EA Sports that lets you create and develop your own fighter. Customize their appearance, equipment, fighting style, weight class, signature move, and illegal hit before stepping into the ring.

Career Mode

Take your boxer from a local gym to five-star venues. Recruit trainers to improve training, speed, and power, then face randomly generated opponents as you climb the rankings. Fights can offer extra money or promotional deals, but managing your career outside the ring is also important.

Gameplay and Modes

  • Total Punch Control: Use the analog stick to control your punches instead of relying on button mashing.
  • ESPN Classic: Play historical matchups including Taylor vs. Hopkins, Gatti vs. Ward, and Robinson vs. Lamotta.
  • Multiplayer: Compete locally with a friend or play online against other opponents.
