Sega’s arcade puzzle game built around pre-designed Tetris challenges

The briefing

About this game

Flash Point is an arcade puzzle game by Sega based on Tetris. Instead of building freely from an empty playfield, players tackle pre-designed formations and must clear the specified highlighted blocks.

The game follows a familiar fail condition: play ends when the blocks reach the top of the screen. Flash Point was later re-released in its original form as part of Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 28: Tetris Collection, which also included a previously unreleased Sega Mega Drive version.
