Flight Simulation

Flight Simulation is a flight simulation program developed by Psion and marketed by Sinclair Research for the Sinclair ZX81 and ZX Spectrum. The ZX81 edition was also sold in the United States by Timex Sinclair as The Flight Simulator for the Timex Sinclair 1000, and as Flug-Simulation in German-speaking markets.

The program models the essential aspects of flying a highly manoeuvrable light aircraft. Despite the ZX81's limitations, it provides a basic graphical display of cockpit instrumentation and the view through the aircraft's front window, along with navigational aids and a full-perspective moving view during the final runway approach.

Released in 1981, the ZX81 version received a positive review from Popular Computing Weekly. The ZX Spectrum version followed in 1982 and was generally well reviewed at the time, although Your Sinclair later felt that it had not aged well.
