Cockpit-view aerial escort shooter

The briefing

About this game

In Flyer Fox, civil aviation has become a dangerous mission. Pilot the Flyer Fox fighter and escort jumbo jets safely to their destinations while defending them from aerial terrorists.

Each level begins with an automatic takeoff, placing the fighter behind the protected airliner. Use the Fox's guns to shoot down enemy fighters, while cockpit instruments—including radar, a compass, and an artificial horizon—help locate threats and return to the plane being escorted.

The airliner's damage is shown on a status line. The mission ends if the jumbo is destroyed or the Fox runs out of fuel before all enemies are eliminated. Later levels add more agile opponents that can fire back, and synthesized speech delivers radio messages from the airliner.
