Forbidden Fruit

Forbidden Fruit is a maze-based action shooter released in 1983. Guide a man through each maze, collecting fruit and the key needed to open the door to the next level.

Creatures inhabit the maze and hinder progress. They can be shot when moving sideways, but not when they are above or below the player. Escaping a level awards bonus points based on the time taken and fruit collected.

The game includes 12 levels, with each one more difficult than the last. It was developed by Dave Ryder and published by Voyager Software for the BBC Microcomputer System, Commodore C64/128/MAX, and MSX.
