Fossil Fighters

Fossil Fighters is a role-playing game for Nintendo DS, developed by Red Entertainment and published by Nintendo. Set on Vivosaur Island, the game follows an aspiring Fossil Fighter searching for dinosaur fossils.

Players clean fossils in a laboratory using the touch screen to hammer, chip, drill, and brush away the surrounding stone. Careful cleaning helps preserve the fossil and can produce a more powerful Vivosaur, while damaging it may destroy the fossil.

Revived Vivosaurs can be used in turn-based battles against other Fossil Fighters, with up to three Vivosaurs on each side. Improving performance raises the player's rank, unlocking access to more areas and better fossils while revealing more of Vivosaur Island's mysteries.
