About this game

Gekibo: Gekisha Boy is a 2D side-scrolling action shooter developed by Tomcat System and published by Irem. Released on October 2, 1992, it was available for NEC PC Engine and TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine.

You play as a cameraman trying to take high-paying photographs for a contractor. Move through street scenes while controlling the camera’s shutter aim and guiding the character with limited movement. Photograph unusual, tragic, funny, or strange events—including crashing airplanes, Marilyn Monroe lookalikes, and UFOs abducting cars—to earn points.

Each stage has a target score that must be reached to progress. Falling short means replaying the stage.
