Gunship 2000

Gunship 2000 is a helicopter combat simulator built around campaigns and individual missions. Players can fly helicopters including the Apache, Longbow Apache, Blackhawk, Comanche Scout, Comanche Gunship, and MD-500 Defender.

Its updated graphics engine presents varied terrain with valleys, hills, and train tunnels that can be flown through. As pilots earn promotions, they can command multiple helicopters while tackling missions to attack, defend, sweep, scout, rescue, and drop supplies or personnel.

A dynamic campaign generates new missions across multiple maps, while crew members gain experience as they survive and succeed. The mission recorder lets players review every member of the team during combat. The arsenal includes Hellfire missiles, Sidearm anti-radar missiles, chain guns, and gun pods, while opposing forces can deploy systems ranging from 2S6 gun-and-missile vehicles and ZSU-23s to MiGs.
