Isometric arcade action on a hazardous downhill track
The briefing
Gyroscope is an action-focused arcade game built around navigating a gyroscope down sloping, hazard-filled tracks in fixed isometric 3D. Players must manage rapid acceleration and slow braking while avoiding buildings, ramps, drops, and other obstacles.
The game provides seven lives and a time limit for each screen. Losing a life returns the gyroscope to the start of the level, while running out of time costs a life but allows play to continue from the current position with a fresh time limit. Completing screens awards time bonuses, while finishing four-screen levels grants points bonuses. Reaching 1,000 points awards an extra life.
After level 7, remaining lives are converted into points and the levels begin again mirrored vertically. The same scoring bonus occurs after level 14, after which the game loops back to the standard level 1 sequence.
