Hajime no Ippo: The Fighting!

Hajime No Ippo: The Fighting! is a 2002 Game Boy Advance boxing game based on the manga written and illustrated by George Morikawa. Developed by Treasure, it focuses on one-on-one boxing rather than action-adventure gameplay.

The matches use a first-person perspective and draw some inspiration from Nintendo’s Punch-Out!! games. Detailed pixel artwork and animation aim to stay true to the source material while incorporating Treasure’s own mechanics and creative style.

The game was released in Japan and was not officially released outside the region. An English fan translation is available.
