The briefing

About this game

Headhunter: Redemption is a third-person action-adventure shooter set in a future divided between the high-tech city of Above and the subterranean labour colonies of Below. After investigating an intrusion into the upper levels, veteran Headhunter Jack Wade takes Leeza X under his wing as his apprentice.

Gameplay combines combat, exploration, scanning, and stealth. The IRIS scanner can examine objects, provide a detailed 3D map, and display enemy positions. Players can rotate the camera or position it behind Jack, while rolls and wall-leaning attacks offer options during encounters. Enemies react to running and gunfire, making awareness and stealth important.

Key Features

  • Third-person action with adjustable camera positioning
  • IRIS scanner with object analysis and 3D enemy mapping
  • Combat abilities including rolling and firing from wall corners
  • A story featuring Jack Wade and Leeza X
