Heroes of Mana brings the Mana franchise into real-time strategy, giving players command of armies made up of heroes, creatures, and rabites. The Nintendo DS Touch Screen is used to direct forces and plan battles from a new strategic perspective.

Players can also access Heroes of Mana servers through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to see how they rank among others in their country. The game is also known as Seiken Densetsu: Heroes of Mana.
