The briefing

About this game

Hungry Horace is an arcade maze game based on the gameplay of Pac-Man. Players guide Horace, a purple character with arms and legs, through mazes while eating everything and avoiding park guards who are trying to capture him.

Horace can ring a bell in the maze to temporarily scare the guards, making them vulnerable. Escaping the maze allows him to advance to the next, more challenging level.

Programmed by William Tang and designed by Alfred Milgrom, Hungry Horace is part of the Horace series, alongside Horace Goes Skiing and Horace and the Spiders. It was released for the Commodore 64, Commodore C64/128/MAX, Dragon 32/64, and Sinclair ZX Spectrum.
