About this game

Hydlide 3: The Space Memories is the third entry in T&E Soft’s Hydlide action RPG series. Players create a character as a Warrior, Thief, Priest, or Monk, then fight using melee weapons, long-ranged weapons, and magic spells.

Combat changes from the earlier games by requiring the player to press the attack button during melee encounters rather than simply colliding with enemies. An internal clock adds survival considerations: the protagonist must sleep periodically to recover strength and eat regularly, or hit points gradually decrease.

The returning morality system penalizes killing friendly creatures. A reduced morality level can influence one of the game’s decisive battles.
