Iron Man

Iron Man puts players in the role of Tony Stark, the billionaire inventor who creates an armored suit after being kidnapped by terrorists. Inspired primarily by the 2008 film, the game follows Stark as he abandons weapons manufacturing and uses his technology to fight back.

Across more than 12 missions, players can battle armies, tanks, helicopters, and other threats on foot or in flight. Combat includes ranged weapons and melee attacks, with upgradeable equipment such as missiles, micro-grenades, repulsor shots, EMP blasts, a flamethrower, and the powerful Unibeam. The suit’s propulsion and armor systems can also be upgraded, while many versions include special comic-book armors to unlock.

The story is presented through cinematics between missions and expands beyond the film with villains including Whiplash and Titanium Man. This version features altered visuals and an upgrade system based on equipment usage rather than spending money. Listed platforms include Future Pinball, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, Sony PlayStation 2, and Sony PSP.
