The briefing

About this game

Juno First is an arcade shooter in which waves of aliens attack a fighter craft with increasingly dangerous formations and mutations. A radar display indicates the types and positions of approaching enemies, while players must destroy threats quickly before they become more dangerous.

Aliens launch white bombs that cannot be shot down and homing bombs that can be destroyed. Shooting an asteroid and capturing the mystery inside temporarily stops enemy fire for about 10 seconds and awards bonus points for defeated aliens. Each wave has a 99-second limit, with faster completions earning higher bonuses.

Players can use up to three warps per wave to escape difficult situations. An extra ship is awarded for every 100,000 points. The game was released in 1982 and is associated with Konami, with versions listed for arcade, Atari 8-bit, Atari 800, Commodore C64/128/MAX, DOS, Final Burn Alpha Neo, and MSX.
