A Question of Sport

A Question of Sport is a sports trivia game based on the long-running BBC quiz show. Developed by Elite Systems and published by Superior Software / Acornsoft, it pits two teams of three against each other in a contest of sporting knowledge.

Gameplay

Correct answers are worth two points. If a team answers incorrectly, the opposing team can attempt the question for one point. The game features six rounds, including a picture board, “what happened next,” and a quickfire buzzers round.

Contestants appear as digitized faces, with each specializing in a particular sport. Team captains choose their specialist sport from a selection of ten. Five question blocks help extend play when questions begin to repeat, and the team with the highest score after the final round wins.
