Alligator Hunt

Alligator Hunt is an arcade shoot ’em up developed and published by Gaelco. Up to two players control skateboarding kids battling an invasion of alien reptiles across Earth, outer space, and the reptiles’ home planet.

Players move left and right along the bottom of the screen while aiming a crosshair freely across the playfield. The game offers an unlimited standard laser and a limited missile weapon. Destroying certain targets reveals bonus items, including extra missiles, super missiles, and points. Point bonuses increase in value when shot.

After each stage, the game displays brutality and efficacy meters. Its presentation includes digitized music, digitized explosion effects, and scenes using pre-rendered 3D animation.
